Spark your faith at Sunday School
Good Shepherd’s Faith Formation Committee has evolved from a program whose historical roots came from a desire to enrich the faith life of congregation members and has grown to encompass all aspects of the formation of faith for all ages.
Our Faith Formation Committee encompasses cradle to grave learning and teaching. It is much more than Christian Education. The work of the ministry encompasses all of life and helps guide the efforts of the congregation to help all of our members live out their baptismal covenant. The Faith Formation Committee interacts with all of our other ministries to provide a holistic approach to our life together in Christ.
The mission of Faith Formation is achieved through the work of sub-committees including:
- Youth and Family Ministry
- Nursery
- Sunday school for children and adults
- Weekly Bible studies
- Vacation Bible School
- Agape Day Camp
- Youth groups for grades 3-5, middle school and high school
- Confirmation Instruction
- First Communion Instruction
